Do you ever feel like the sky is falling down? It could do any minute. Just because the natural order has behaved a certain way previously, this is not sufficient ground upon which to predict its future behaviour. Nowadays we seem perched on a cultural and climatic precipice, often surprised by huge movements in the world around us. We are stuck in a state of anxious inertia, watching the melodrama unfold cartoonishly outside of our control. I channel the things I see around me into an alternate, filtered reality made up of images and objects. This is a world of games, bricks and grass, of preachers, thugs and loners. Phenomena appear and vanish; disasters strike.
